Strong show, small audience. The folks at Kirby’s beer store were really nice (is that starting to sound repetitious yet?). The owners were cool and though there were only a few people there they were really into the show which was good.

So the day started with my driving from Manhattan to Wichita despite my getting far less sleep than the others.

Will lokiloka ever be a success in other cities? I have no idea, but we could have used it today. We went to Guitar Center and it was an ordeal. Salaud and I bought tuner pedals which, given the show tonight, I think will be money well worth spending. However, that money should have gone to one of the wonderful and awesome locally owned music stores in Portland, and failing that, a locally owned music store here in Wichita. The guitar center here had virtually no prices on anything we looked at, and it took forever to actually pay, since they wanted to collect all kinds of information first. We reached the point where bastard had to say, essentially, "look we need to pay and go." Ah, bad corporate management.

But the equipment helped and improved the show which was pretty tight tonight. Tonight was the first time cannibal family was in tune to my satisfaction. Salaud and I got naps in the early evening which was nice though we didn’t hit the pool like we wanted to. I swear it sounds like the life, touring, but it is so tiring. So tomorrow we’re off to Arkansas.
