Stumptown Annex (Belmont)

i’ve attended cuppings at the stumptown annex twice now… both times have been to give visiting folks an experience that is both ‘stumptown coffee’ and simply ‘portland’. the cupping is something you don’t find very often anywhere. and it is something that anyone who appreciates coffee can get something out of, whether they simply drink coffee or consider themselves knowledgeable connoisseurs. the coffee world’s equivalent of wine flight/tasting, the cupping is an intimate, sensory experience that gets people re-acquainted with real, quality coffee. an experience that, for some, will hopefully result in a little more consciousness the next time they go out to purchase beans or a brewed cup. the experience is also free (though the conscientious tip, buy a cup, or purchase some beans).
