Tandem

despite some changes, this is still one of my regular favorites for coffee. one change that’s occurred is that unfortunately, their community bulletin board is now defunct. seems some people were complaining about the ‘content’ of certain fliers, etc and the owners/operators (and i think sisters?) are very interested in keeping the shop family friendly. not sure what the situation is with the ‘content’, but it’s a little disappointing that they felt forced to discontinue the bulletin board. another disappointing change is that they are no longer opened at night.

however, this place still has my heart. they always have a great selection of home-made baked goods and pastries, and never the same thing too often. they have great coffee and hot cider. and their prices are reasonable… it’s rare to find a $1 house cup of coffee anymore.

there’s always good local art on the walls, and they have a nice kids area that somehow manages to always be pretty quiet and very clean.
